My Haiku and Tanka poem-Task 20

Here is Haiku and Tanka poems.Here is my poem beacuse i have that much to say.

  1. Kia ora Neha. I love these poems, especially the simile to kick off your tanka. Did you check how many syllables you have in each line? Also, don't forget to enter any poems you create into the poetry slam here.

    Well done with this weeks poetry activity! This is an awesome summer themed poem.

    I love the way you have described things in your poem, especially the grass shining like glitter. Do you enjoy writing poetry?

    Remember that a haiku has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second line, and 5 in the third line. A tanka has the same as a haiku, but two extra lines at the end, each with 7 syllables.

    Perhaps you can double check and maybe play around with the words to create a 5-7-5 haiku and 5-7-5-7-7 tanka. These are still excellent poems regardless!
