Awesome mahi creating some fun found sounds! You had a good beat going there! I don’t think you went overboard- you were letting your creativity run wild!
Did you enjoy this task? It’s quite fun realising that there is music in everything, right?
Ka pai and I’m looking forward to seeing your next post for SLJ!
My name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. Thank you for sharing your amazing work, it is Great to see that you had lots of fun. I really enjoyed the musical performance and it was fantastic to see your imagination and creativity- Ka Pai!!!
Do you enjoy playing instruments? What is your favourite instrument? I used to play the drums when I was younger and I really enjoyed listening to the beats and rhythms.
Keep up the Super work and I hope to see more of your posts during the Summer Learning Journey!!
My name is Fiona and I am a Manaiakalani facilitator. It is great to see that you are getting involved in the summer learning journey.
Thanks for sharing the video of your jam session! I like the way you made up a drum kit for yourself using everyday objects, and experimented with the different sounds they each made. I like the rhythm you came up with. Have you ever made your own music before?
I look forward to seeing more creative blog posts from you over the summer.
Kia ora Neha. Wow what excellent multi-tasking. I like the way you experimented by hitting your objects in different places and with different things. I think we may have a future drummer on our hands! Do you play any other instruments?
Kia ora Neha!
